Host Dean Rotbart interviews Amy Friedrich, Vice President with Principal Financial Group about the recently released survey results of the 2014 Principal Financial Well-Being Survey. The survey polled 600 small business owners who are actively involved in the management of their company on topics such as financial health, staffing, and current challenges. The results offer small business owners a way to compare their businesses with others nationwide.
In the interview, Amy discusses how economic outlook has improved among small business owners since the survey’s inception in 2012. Specifically, she says that 88% of the business owners surveyed say their business is either “growing” or “stable.”
Amy Friedrich joined the Principal Financial Group in 2000, where she now oversees portions of the company’s specialty benefits division. Previously, Amy was a change management manager for Accenture, Chicago.
