Dean Rotbart interviews Nicole Lininger, Director of Corporate Communications for InventHelp, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based company that works with inventors trying to bring their products to market. They assist inventors with everything from obtaining patents, producing prototypes, submitting ideas to companies for review, and product marketing.
Nicole notes that while the success rate for new inventions is low, there is always an abundance of inventors seeking to turn their idea into the next big thing. She also talks about how persistence plays a key role in whether or not an invention is ultimately successful, and how sometimes, it simply comes down to timing.
